" The Woodsman Course last weekend was officially our last outdoor course for this year. We have had a great season (not rained on any course !!) with all our courses being well attended and some great feedback from the students which inspires us to do more. We carry on through the winter with our indoor one day courses, which lets our woodland have a little piece and quiet for a few months. Kuksa and Advanced Carving workshops are full before Christmas and the Januay 2017 Kuksa course is full already. A big thanks goes out to all the students who attended one, or more, of our courses this year and hope to see you soon... Mike "

Military Section and Discounts
We have now launched a military section on our website along with a military discount code for serving personnel only. The section will consist mainly of equipment such as rucksacks, sleeping bags, pouches and cooking gear.
If you are serving in our armed forces, to get the discount all you have to do is contact us by phone on 01995 601011 or email us at sales@tamarackoutdoors.co.uk, tell us your ID Number and where you are based and we will set the rest up for you.

Equipment HOW-TOs
Quite a number of our customers have expressed an interest in some how to's - such as packing a rucksack, correct tent and tarp pitching, cutting tools maintenance, maintenance of outdoor equipment and fabrics etc. If you are interested in this please contact us and we could put a day together in 2016, probably a Saturday. Tamarack Courses 2017
Courses for 2017 are now available to book. The Bushcraft course in May is almost sold out already - I think that is a record.
