By Mike Rushton 3rd September 2015 Time is flying by this year, already past August and our final organised course of 2015 !!
The second Bushcraft Course of the year started with a 36 hour rain storm, luckily finishing when all students met at the Tamarack Shop on the Friday evening. So it was nice to get onto the site and pitched up in the dry.
The course went really well over the two days, covering the many outdoorsman skills needed to have a safe and eventful time while outside. We're always conscious not to overfill the course material and to leave enough downtime in the evenings for students to do their own thing. After all it's not often you get the chance to put your equipment into use, camping in the wild.
Some really nice feedback, both in person and on social media. That really drives the Tamarack Team to look for more variety or different courses and events to keep everything fresh.
A big thanks goes out to all the students who have attended one of our courses or the Tamarack Expedition this year... and hope to see you on the 2016 courses and at the Rendezvous 2016.
