Well that was a busy July flying by... I thought I would write a few lines to give a brief summary of our annual July camping event - The Tamarack Rendezvous.

This year saw the RV extended by a day, so we could include more activities for all the people attending. The weather started off a little wet, to say the least, but this didn’t dampen our spirits and everyone ignored the weather and got on and had some fun. Clouds lifted and things faired up as the weekend approached, including some really nice calm evenings around the campfires.

| After a brief introduction on the Thursday morning the RV got underway with our mix of lectures, demonstrations and various activities, including air rifles, catapults, tomahawk throwing and a lot more.
The Tamarack Café was very busy again serving up good hearty food and gallons of hot drinks. For those needing a little retail therapy we ran the on-site shop stocked with those need-to-have items and plenty of firewood.
As I write, we are planning the next RV which will run from the 26th to 30th July 2017. As ever we like to change things around a bit to keep it fresh, so standby for some great activities next year.

| Once again the feedback we received from customers, both during the RV and after, has been very encouraging. The many kind words, either spoken or emailed to us, are much appreciated and spur us on to continue to make the event better year on year.
A big thanks goes out to all who helped at the event, including Simon and his team at Wood-Sage, Mark Archer, Norrie and Gillian, Brian Walsh to name but a few.
But the biggest thanks goes out to all of the good people who attended this year's RV. It's fantastic to see people interested and attending the activities, but each year it is the interaction and camaraderie between groups on the campsite which, for us at Tamarack, is why we do it.
So thank you all and hope to see you next year... Mike
