This is a great product from Sweden that is perfect for starting a fire, especially if you are using a fire steel.

It doesn't contain any nasty chemicals and is completely bio-degradable.When pulled apart it shows its fibrous nature producing an excellent complement to a flint and striker. Once ignited it burns slowly like a candle, helping to easily start fires. The exposed fibrous surface takes a spark easily and quickly starts to burn.

A pack contains 18 firelighters, but these can easily be broken into three for hiking purposes. So a pack contains enough material to start over 50 fires.
