The design is brilliant, no parts to lose, opens instantly, closes in 3 movements. Build quality is superb as you expect from Soto. Its usefulness is up to you, I enjoy taking it on day hikes to keep my food and drinks out of the heather or to put my stove on but it would be too heavy for long range walking where every gram is a burden. Pricey but beautiful and worth the cost for such a pleasing item.
