This insect-proof mesh shelter is the ideal place to escape from bugs and midges and at less than 500g / 17oz, it's an incredibly lightweight addition to your rucksack.

Ideal for solo hikers and campers, this tent can be used with a tarp for rain protection *(please see note below) or simply just by itself in warmer and drier climes!

With ample room inside for 1 person, you'll be sure to have a comfortable night's sleep.

This ultra-fine mesh means you will be protected from every insect from the mosquito to the miniscule Scottish midge!

With slim pegging tabs and a central top loop, the tent can be rigged in 2 ways either suspended from a branch or overhead ridgeline, or propped up from the interior using just 1 hiking pole (sold separately).

The DD Solo Mesh Tent is also designed to fit perfectly inside just half the interior space of the forthcoming DD SuperLight - XL - Pyramid Tent. Arriving in summer 2019, this outer tent will be ideal for providing shelter from rain and wind, and provides a very large waterproof porch space. In the meantime - why not use a DD SuperLight Tarp overhead to give full rain protection?
