I had previously been using cleat plastic cases to store my batteries. they were not very convenient, got brittle over time and could come open when packed in a bag. By contrast, this caddy is a really great way to store batteries. Its not bulky & the batteries are stored very securely. Its also very tough plastic. Build quality is excellent. Well worth it..
