A campfire can be lit in the fire bowl in order not to damage the ground, or the griddle can be put over an open fire on its three pillars (9.1 in) in order to prepare a delicious meal. 

The highlight: the centre of the griddle becomes hotter than the outer surface. A juicy piece of meat finishes cooking on the edge, while vegetables are still frying in the middle. After each use a patina forms that is naturally non-stick.
