Petromax Cast Iron Potato Cooker - Large PT-45

Now you can enjoy traditional campfire potatoes without aluminium foil - the cast-iron Potato Cooker by Petromax fulfils the function of a self-contained oven, which guarantees successful jacket potatoes from the campfire. The specially developed tilting bolt mechanism makes lifting a safe affair, because the Petromax lid lifter fits ideally into the lifting eyelet. The two half-bowls are firmly sealed together, and the food remains inside the Potato Cooker, protected from ash. The all-round bar on the underside ensures that the potato roaster does not tip over. The raised rim on the top allows briquettes or embers to be positioned precisely.

The special form made of cast iron completely encases its content. Thanks to the round design and the excellent material properties of cast iron, the heat distributes evenly around the content. This ensures an ideal cooking experience without the food dehydrating. In addition, the potatoes adopt the characteristic roasting flavours from the embers and deliver a powerful taste sensation.
