Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® protects the entire fabric from the effects of both UV and water.

Synthetic fabrics used for tents and rucksacks are coated with a water repellent treatment. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light both destroys the water repellency and leads to a reduction in fabric tear strength, significantly shortening the lifespan of equipment.

To most effectively benefit from the ultraviolet (UV) and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) protection of Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® it is best applied to equipment from new.

SADLY THEY ONLY HAD ONE 2.5L PACK OR OR I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT FIVE. I JUST SPRAYED MY DRIAZABONE DUSTER COAT WITH THIS BEFORE COVERING WITH MY DIY CHEAPER & MUCH MORE EFFICIENT WAX COATING USING MICROCRYSTALINE WAX(WHICH BENDS & IS NOT BRITTLE) & TUNG OIL MELTED IN TOGETHER.
SOLAR PROTECTION IS ESSENTIAL AS THE MAGNETOSPHERE IS WEAKENING & WE ARE NOW IN THE CLOCK CYCLE PHOTON BELT=HIGH MOICROWAVES=THE TRUE CAUSE OF CLIMATE CHANGE & NOT C02. NEVER CONTACT NIKWAX CUSTOMER SUPPORT=USELESS.
